Rigid-flex PCBs cross the boundaries of traditional rigid PCBs. They also use flexible circuits that are made by patterning highly ductile, electrodeposited or rolled-annealed copper on flexible insulating films. Rigid-flex designs show some clear traits: high density, fine traces, small vias, small size, light weight, and high reliability. Their performance stays stable under vibration, shock, and humid conditions. They can bend, and they allow three-dimensional mounting. They use space inside an assembly more effectively. For these reasons, they are widely used in portable digital products such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and camcorders. Luft- og rumfartssystemer har brug for p\u00e5lidelige ledninger p\u00e5 meget begr\u00e6nset plads. I nogle komplekse produkter har rigid-flex-kort endda brugt mere end 30 lederlag. P\u00e5 den anden side har forbrugerelektronik som telefoner og digitale kameraer altid haft brug for ledninger med h\u00f8j t\u00e6thed og lave omkostninger. Det behov fik nye designideer og fremstillingsmetoder til at dukke op.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1642\" data-end=\"1936\">Et flerlags rigid-flex board er dybest set en blanding af rigid boards og flex boards. Men for at printkortproducenter kan kombinere dem godt, skal de have gode f\u00e6rdigheder i b\u00e5de stive printkort og fleksible printkortprocesser. S\u00e5 f\u00f8r du designer denne type printkort, skal du kende producentens muligheder og begr\u00e6nsninger.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1938\" data-end=\"1971\">Ulemper ved stive flexplader<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1973\" data-end=\"2489\">Hvis du kun sammenligner \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/da\/pcb-manufacturer\/flexible-pcb\/\">flexplade<\/a> + rigid board + connector\u201d med et enkelt rigid-flex board, er den st\u00f8rste ulempe ved rigid-flex boards omkostningerne. Rigid-flex-plader koster ofte mere. I nogle tilf\u00e6lde kan rigid-flex-muligheden v\u00e6re n\u00e6sten dobbelt s\u00e5 dyr som separate flex- og rigid-boards. Men hvis du fjerner omkostningerne til stik eller HotBar-lodning fra sammenligningen, kan prisen komme t\u00e6t p\u00e5. For at se det reelle omkostningsbillede skal du lave en fuld omkostningsanalyse, der t\u00e6ller dele, monteringstrin og s\u00e6rlige processer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2491\" data-end=\"2775\">En anden ulempe er montering. For produkter, der har brug for pr\u00e6cise signaler, forbedrer rigid-flex-kortene p\u00e5lideligheden.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4010\" data-end=\"4339\">\n<p data-start=\"4013\" data-end=\"4339\">Forenkle produktsamlingen og spar samlingstid<br data-start=\"4061\" data-end=\"4064\">Using rigid-flex boards can reduce <a href=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/da\/pcb-assembly\/smt-assembly\/\">SMT<\/a> and final assembly time. You place fewer connectors. You also remove the assembly step of inserting a flex into a connector or the HotBar soldering step. Fewer parts means a shorter BOM. That reduces inventory and parts management work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 data-start=\"4341\" data-end=\"4409\">Hvordan produktion og montering er forskellig for flex- og rigid-flex-plader<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4411\" data-end=\"4749\">Den vigtigste SMT-proces er den samme for alle korttyper. Fleksible kredsl\u00f8b, rigid-flex boards og rigid boards gennemg\u00e5r alle komponentplacering og reflow-lodning, hvor der bruges loddepasta. Men fleksible print og rigid-flex print har s\u00e6rlige behov. Hvis disse ekstra behov ikke opfyldes omhyggeligt under produktionen, vil du f\u00e5 store problemer.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4751\" data-end=\"4779\">1. Udskrivning af loddepasta<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4781\" data-end=\"5426\">Ligesom med stive printkort bruger man en stencil og en loddepastaprinter til at p\u00e5f\u00f8re loddepasta p\u00e5 flex- og rigid-flex-plader. Mange SMT-operat\u00f8rer bekymrer sig om st\u00f8rrelseskontrol og flexpladernes skr\u00f8belighed. I mods\u00e6tning til stive plader er flexpladernes overflader ikke flade. S\u00e5 du har brug for fiksturer og justeringshuller for at holde dem p\u00e5 plads. Desuden \u00e6ndrer fleksible kredsl\u00f8bsmaterialer st\u00f8rrelse med temperatur og fugtighed. De kan str\u00e6kke sig eller rynke sig med ca. 0,001 tomme pr. tomme under visse forhold. Disse str\u00e6kninger og rynker for\u00e5rsager forskydninger i kortets position i X og Y. Af denne grund har flexplacering ofte brug for mindre holdere eller specialv\u00e6rkt\u00f8j end SMT med stive kort.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5428\" data-end=\"5458\">2. Placering af SMT-komponenter<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5460\" data-end=\"5842\">I dag bliver komponenterne mindre og mindre. Sm\u00e5 dele kan give problemer med reflow, hvis printoverfladen ikke er flad. Hvis et flexkredsl\u00f8b er lille, kan dimensions\u00e6ndringer v\u00e6re et mindre problem, men du kan stadig have brug for mindre SMT-b\u00e6rere eller ekstra referencem\u00e6rker. Hvis en b\u00e6rer ikke er flad, vil du se placeringsforskydninger. Et godt SMT-armatur hj\u00e6lper med at holde placeringsoverfladen flad og stabil.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5844\" data-end=\"5867\">3. Reflow-lodning<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5869\" data-end=\"6249\">F\u00f8r reflow skal fleksible kredsl\u00f8b t\u00f8rres. Dette er en vigtig forskel mellem montering af fleksible og stive plader. Flexmaterialer absorberer fugt som en svamp. De kan f\u00e5 op til ca. 3% af deres v\u00e6gt fra fugt. N\u00e5r et flexboard har suget fugt til sig, kan man ikke reflowe det uden at t\u00f8rre det f\u00f8rst. Stive plader har ogs\u00e5 dette problem, men stive plader t\u00e5ler noget fugt bedre.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6251\" data-end=\"6613\">Fleksible kredsl\u00f8b kr\u00e6ver en forbagning ved ca. 225\u00b0F til 250\u00b0F (ca. 107\u00b0C til 121\u00b0C) i kort tid, ideelt set inden for en time. Hvis du ikke t\u00f8rrer flexen i tide, skal du opbevare pladerne i en t\u00f8r kasse eller i nitrogenopbevaring, indtil de er bagt. Korrekt t\u00f8rring forhindrer skader for\u00e5rsaget af dampdannelse under reflow, f.eks. delaminering eller bl\u00e6rer.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"6615\" data-end=\"6651\">Anvendelser af rigid-flex-plader<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"6653\" data-end=\"7041\">Rigid-flex printkort kombinerer holdbarheden af stive kort med tilpasningsevnen af fleksible kort. Blandt alle printkorttyper er rigid-flex det mest robuste til barske milj\u00f8er. P\u00e5 grund af denne styrke er rigid-flex-kort popul\u00e6re inden for industriel kontrol, medicinsk udstyr og milit\u00e6rt udstyr. Men processen er kompleks, produktionen er lav, og enhedsomkostningerne er h\u00f8je.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7436\" data-end=\"7620\">\n<p data-start=\"7439\" data-end=\"7620\">Mobiltelefoner - I telefoner optr\u00e6der rigid-flex-plader i h\u00e6ngselsomr\u00e5der p\u00e5 foldetelefoner, kameramoduler, tastaturer og RF-moduler. De h\u00e5ndterer gentagne b\u00f8jninger og trange monteringsforhold.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7622\" data-end=\"8220\">\n<p data-start=\"7625\" data-end=\"8220\">Forbrugerelektronik - Digitale stillbillede-kameraer (DSC) og digitale videoprodukter (DV) er typiske forbrugerprodukter, der bruger rigid-flex. Vi kan se p\u00e5 rigid-flex fra to vinkler: ydeevne og struktur. Fra pr\u00e6stationssiden kan rigid-flex forbinde forskellige stive plader og moduler i tre dimensioner. Fra strukturens side er rigid-flex-plader lette og tynde og giver mulighed for fleksibel routing. De hj\u00e6lper med at krympe st\u00f8rrelsen og reducere v\u00e6gten.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"8222\" data-end=\"8680\">\n<p data-start=\"8225\" data-end=\"8680\">Biler - I biler bruges rigid-flex-kort til n\u00f8glekontakter p\u00e5 rattet, forbindelser mellem sk\u00e6rme og kontrolkort i k\u00f8ret\u00f8jet, d\u00f8rkontroltaster, bilens lydkontrol, parkeringsradarkamerasystemer, mange sensorer (luftkvalitet, temperatur og fugtighed, gasdetektering og -kontrol), k\u00f8ret\u00f8jskommunikationssystemer, satellitnavigation, forbindelser til bags\u00e6dekontroller, kontrolkort til forenden og endda eksterne detekteringssystemer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 data-start=\"8682\" data-end=\"8727\">Materialer til flerlags rigid-flex-plader<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"8729\" data-end=\"8899\">Nedenfor er en simpel tabel over almindelige materialer, der bruges til at lave flerlags rigid-flex boards. Til omr\u00e5der med h\u00f8j p\u00e5lidelighed som milit\u00e6r og rumfart anbefaler vi at bruge tykkere polyimidfilm (mere end 50 \u03bcm). P\u00e5 disse omr\u00e5der skal grundmaterialet have st\u00e6rk stabilitet og holdbarhed under behandlingen. I mods\u00e6tning hertil f\u00f8lger forbrugerelektronik ofte en tendens til at v\u00e6re tyndere og lettere. Der bruger producenterne normalt tyndere dielektrikum (mindre end 50 \u03bcm).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"10302\" data-end=\"10595\">Blandt kl\u00e6bende kobberbekl\u00e6dte laminater, coverlays og limfilm har akrylkl\u00e6bemidler bedre bindingsstyrke, men lidt lavere varmebestandighed og h\u00f8jere krympning. Epoxylim giver bedre varmebestandighed, men det tager l\u00e6ngere tid at h\u00e6rde, og nogle gange har de en lidt svagere bindingsstyrke.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"10597\" data-end=\"10966\">Brug af st\u00f8bt eller tryklamineret limfrit kobberbekl\u00e6dt laminat giver normalt h\u00f8jere varmebestandighed og lavere varmeudvidelseskoefficient (CTE). Disse materialer hj\u00e6lper ogs\u00e5 med at reducere den endelige pladetykkelse og kan reducere udsmidning af boreharpiks betydeligt. Here are some of the main benefits:<\\\/p>\\n<ol data-start=\\\"2903\\\" data-end=\\\"4339\\\">\\n<li data-start=\\\"2903\\\" data-end=\\\"3320\\\">\\n<p data-start=\\\"2906\\\" data-end=\\\"3320\\\">Save board space and remove the need for connectors or HotBar processes<br data-start=\\\"2977\\\" data-end=\\\"2980\\\">Because the flex and rigid parts are one piece, you can remove a connector or a HotBar joint. For high density designs, losing the space of one connector is very valuable. Removing connectors also lowers parts cost and the cost of HotBar processing. Flexible circuits, rigid-flex boards, and rigid boards all go through component placement and reflow soldering that uses solder paste. But flexible boards and rigid-flex boards have special needs. If these extra needs are not met carefully during production, you will get big problems.<\\\/p>\\n<h3 data-start=\\\"4751\\\" data-end=\\\"4779\\\">1. Solder paste printing<\\\/h3>\\n<p data-start=\\\"4781\\\" data-end=\\\"5426\\\">Like rigid PCBs, you use a stencil and a solder paste printer to apply solder paste to flex and rigid-flex boards. Many SMT operators worry about size control and the fragility of flex boards. Unlike rigid boards, flex board surfaces are not flat. So you need fixtures and alignment holes to hold them in place. Also, flexible circuit materials change size with temperature and humidity. They can stretch or wrinkle by about 0.001 inch per inch under some conditions. These stretches and wrinkles cause shifts in the board position in X and Y. For this reason, flex placement often needs smaller carriers or special tooling than rigid board SMT.<\\\/p>\\n<h3 data-start=\\\"5428\\\" data-end=\\\"5458\\\">2. If a flex circuit is small, dimensional changes may be less of a problem, but you may still need smaller SMT carriers or extra fiducial marks. If a carrier is not flat, you will see placement shifts. A good SMT fixture helps keep the placement surface flat and steady.<\\\/p>\\n<h3 data-start=\\\"5844\\\" data-end=\\\"5867\\\">3. Reflow soldering<\\\/h3>\\n<p data-start=\\\"5869\\\" data-end=\\\"6249\\\">Before reflow, flexible circuits must be dried. This is a key difference between flex and rigid board assembly. Flex materials absorb moisture like a sponge. They can gain up to about 3% of their weight from moisture. Once a flex board soaks up moisture, you cannot reflow it without drying first. Rigid boards also have this issue, but rigid boards tolerate some moisture better.<\\\/p>\\n<p data-start=\\\"6251\\\" data-end=\\\"6613\\\">Flexible circuits require a pre-bake at roughly 225\\u00b0F to 250\\u00b0F (about 107\\u00b0C to 121\\u00b0C) for a short time, ideally finished within one hour. If you do not dry the flex in time, you must store the boards in a dry box or in nitrogen storage until they are baked.
