Hintergrund des Prozesses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Da die Bauteile auf Leiterplatten immer kleiner und dichter angeordnet werden, verringern sich auch der Abstand zwischen den Bauteilen und die Abstandsh\u00f6he der Bauteile, also der Abstand zwischen dem Bauteil und der Leiterplatte. Gleichzeitig haben Umweltfaktoren einen immer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Einfluss auf <a href=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/de\/pcb-assembly\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1919\">PCBA<\/a>. Aus diesem Grund m\u00fcssen elektronische Produkte heute ein h\u00f6heres Ma\u00df an Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit aufweisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PCBA-Bauteile werden immer kleiner, und die Anordnung wird immer dichter. Angesichts des Trends zur Miniaturisierung und hohen Packungsdichte nehmen durch die Umgebung bedingte Ausfallprobleme immer mehr zu. Aus diesem Grund ist die Schutzbeschichtung zu einem Schl\u00fcsselprozess geworden, um die Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit von PCBA im Einsatz zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Einfluss verschiedener Umweltfaktoren auf die Leiterplattenbest\u00fcckung (PCBA)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e4ufige Umwelteinfl\u00fcsse wie Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Salznebel und Schimmel k\u00f6nnen verschiedene Arten von Ausf\u00e4llen an Leiterplattenbaugruppen verursachen. Die wichtigsten Auswirkungen sind folgende.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.1 Einfluss der Luftfeuchtigkeit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die meisten elektronischen Leiterplattenbaugruppen, die in einer offenen Umgebung eingesetzt werden, sind der Gefahr von Korrosion ausgesetzt. Wasser ist der Hauptfaktor, der Korrosion verursacht. Wassermolek\u00fcle sind sehr klein, sodass sie durch die Molek\u00fcll\u00fccken einiger Polymerwerkstoffe dringen und in das Innere des Materials gelangen k\u00f6nnen. Sie k\u00f6nnen auch durch winzige L\u00f6cher in der Beschichtung in die darunterliegende Metallschicht eindringen und dort Korrosion verursachen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenn die Luftfeuchtigkeit einen bestimmten Wert erreicht, kann dies zu elektrochemischer Migration auf der Leiterplatte, Leckstrom und Signalverzerrungen in Hochfrequenzschaltungen f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dampf oder Feuchtigkeit + ionische Schadstoffe wie Salze und Flussmittelaktivatoren = leitf\u00e4higer Elektrolyt + Spannungsbeanspruchung = elektrochemische Migration<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"552\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Humidity.webp\" alt=\"Effect of Humidity\" class=\"wp-image-5006\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Humidity.webp 552w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Humidity-300x272.webp 300w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Humidity-13x12.webp 13w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenn die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit 80% erreicht, kann sich ein Wasserfilm mit einer Dicke von 5 bis 20 Molek\u00fclen bilden. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt k\u00f6nnen sich viele Molek\u00fcle frei bewegen. Ist Kohlenstoff vorhanden, k\u00f6nnen elektrochemische Reaktionen stattfinden. Wenn die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit 60% erreicht, kann sich auf der Oberfl\u00e4che des Ger\u00e4ts ein Wasserfilm mit einer Dicke von 2 bis 4 Molek\u00fclen bilden. L\u00f6sen sich Schadstoffe darin auf, k\u00f6nnen chemische Reaktionen stattfinden. Liegt die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit unter 20%, kommt die Korrosion fast vollst\u00e4ndig zum Stillstand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aus diesem Grund ist der Feuchtigkeitsschutz ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Produktschutzes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei elektronischen Ger\u00e4ten tritt Feuchtigkeit in drei Formen auf: Regenwasser, Kondenswasser und Wasserdampf. Wasser ist ein Elektrolyt. Es kann viele korrosive Ionen l\u00f6sen und dadurch Metall angreifen. Wenn die Temperatur an einer Stelle des Ger\u00e4ts unter dem Taupunkt liegt, bildet sich an dieser Oberfl\u00e4che Kondenswasser. Dies kann an Bauteilen oder auf der Leiterplatte (PCBA) geschehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.2 Auswirkungen von Staub<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In der Luft befindet sich Staub. Staub kann ionische Schadstoffe aufnehmen und sich anschlie\u00dfend in elektronischen Ger\u00e4ten ablagern. Dies kann zu Ausf\u00e4llen f\u00fchren. Dies ist ein h\u00e4ufiges Problem bei elektronischen Ger\u00e4ten im Au\u00dfenbereich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staub l\u00e4sst sich in zwei Arten unterteilen. Grobstaub besteht aus unregelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Partikeln mit einem Durchmesser von 2,5 bis 15 Mikrometer. Er verursacht in der Regel keine Ausf\u00e4lle oder Lichtb\u00f6gen, kann jedoch den Kontakt an Steckverbindern beeintr\u00e4chtigen. Feinststaub besteht aus unregelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Partikeln mit einem Durchmesser von weniger als 2,5 Mikrometer. Feinststaub, der auf eine PCBA-Platine f\u00e4llt, haftet etwas an dieser, sodass er nur mit einer antistatischen B\u00fcrste entfernt werden kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staub hat folgende sch\u00e4dliche Auswirkungen:<br>a. Wenn sich Staub auf der Oberfl\u00e4che der Leiterplatte absetzt, kann dies zu elektrochemischer Korrosion f\u00fchren und die Ausfallrate des Bauteils erh\u00f6hen.<br>b. Die Kombination aus Staub, Hitze, Feuchtigkeit und Salznebel verursacht die gr\u00f6\u00dften Sch\u00e4den an Leiterplattenbaugruppen (PCBA). Elektronische Ger\u00e4te in K\u00fcstenn\u00e4he, in W\u00fcstengebieten oder auf salz- und alkalihaltigen B\u00f6den, w\u00e4hrend der Regenzeit s\u00fcdlich des Huai-Flusses sowie in der N\u00e4he von Chemiewerken oder Bergbaugebieten weisen die h\u00f6chste Ausfallrate auf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aus diesem Grund ist der Staubschutz ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Produktschutzes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.3 Auswirkungen von Salznebel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Salznebel entsteht durch Wellenbewegung, Gezeiten, atmosph\u00e4rische Zirkulation wie den Monsun, Luftdruck und Sonneneinstrahlung. Er kann mit dem Wind landeinw\u00e4rts getragen werden. Die Konzentration nimmt mit zunehmender Entfernung von der K\u00fcste ab. In der Regel betr\u00e4gt die Konzentration in 1 km Entfernung von der K\u00fcste nur noch 1% des Wertes an der K\u00fcste. W\u00e4hrend der Taifun-Saison kann Salznebel weiter ins Landesinnere gelangen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Die sch\u00e4dlichen Auswirkungen von Salznebel sind wie folgt:<\/strong><br>a. Es besch\u00e4digt die Beschichtung auf metallischen Bauteilen.<br>b. Es beschleunigt die elektrochemische Korrosion, was zum Bruch von Metalldr\u00e4hten und zum Ausfall von Bauteilen f\u00fchren kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c4hnliche Korrosionsursachen sind ebenfalls h\u00e4ufig anzutreffen:<\/strong><br>a. Menschlicher Schwei\u00df enth\u00e4lt Salz, Harnstoff, Milchs\u00e4ure und andere chemische Substanzen. Diese k\u00f6nnen an elektronischen Ger\u00e4ten die gleiche Art von Korrosion verursachen wie Salznebel. Aus diesem Grund sollten bei der Montage und beim Gebrauch Handschuhe getragen werden, und beschichtete Oberfl\u00e4chen d\u00fcrfen nicht mit blo\u00dfen H\u00e4nden ber\u00fchrt werden.<br>b. Das Flussmittel enth\u00e4lt Halogene und saure Substanzen. Die Leiterplatte muss gereinigt werden, und der Gehalt an Flussmittelr\u00fcckst\u00e4nden muss streng kontrolliert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aus diesem Grund ist der Schutz vor Salznebel ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Produktschutzes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.4 Auswirkungen von Schimmel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSchimmel\u201d ist eine umgangssprachliche Bezeichnung f\u00fcr Fadenpilze. Der Begriff bedeutet \u201eschimmelbildende Pilze\u201c. Sie bilden oft verzweigte und dichte Myzelien, jedoch keine gro\u00dfen Fruchtk\u00f6rper wie Pilze. An warmen und feuchten Orten bilden sich auf vielen Gegenst\u00e4nden sichtbare, flaumige, baumwollartige oder netzartige Kolonien. Das ist Schimmel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"498\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Mold.webp\" alt=\"Effect of Mold\" class=\"wp-image-5007\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Mold.webp 498w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Mold-249x300.webp 249w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Effect-of-Mold-10x12.webp 10w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Schimmelpilze haben folgende sch\u00e4dliche Auswirkungen:<br>a. Schimmel ern\u00e4hrt sich von organischen Materialien und w\u00e4chst auf diesen. Dies kann die D\u00e4mmleistung des Materials beeintr\u00e4chtigen und zu Sch\u00e4den und Versagen f\u00fchren.<br>b. Die Stoffwechselprodukte von Schimmelpilzen sind organische S\u00e4uren. Diese k\u00f6nnen die Isolierung und die Durchschlagfestigkeit beeintr\u00e4chtigen und zu Lichtbogenproblemen f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aus diesem Grund ist der Schutz vor Schimmelbefall ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Produktschutzes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. \u00dcberblick \u00fcber den Prozess der konformen Beschichtung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Angesichts der umfassenden Auswirkungen von Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Salznebel, Schimmel und anderen umgebungsbedingten Korrosionsfaktoren muss die PCBA so weit wie m\u00f6glich von der Au\u00dfenumgebung isoliert werden, um die Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit zu verbessern. Aus diesem Grund wurde das Verfahren der Schutzbeschichtung eingef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die konforme Beschichtung wird auch als Oberfl\u00e4chenbeschichtung oder Conformal Coating bezeichnet. Ihr englischer Name lautet \u201ecoating\u201c oder \u201econformal coating\u201c. Sie ist mittlerweile die g\u00e4ngigste Methode zum Schutz der Oberfl\u00e4che von Leiterplatten nach dem L\u00f6ten. Bei diesem Verfahren wird eine d\u00fcnne, isolierende Schutzschicht auf die Oberfl\u00e4che der Leiterplatte aufgetragen. Sie sch\u00fctzt empfindliche elektronische Bauteile vor rauen Umgebungsbedingungen, verbessert die Sicherheit und Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit elektronischer Produkte erheblich und verl\u00e4ngert deren Lebensdauer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eine konforme Beschichtung kann Schaltkreise und Bauteile vor Feuchtigkeit, Schadstoffen, Korrosion, Beanspruchung, St\u00f6\u00dfen, mechanischen Schwingungen und Temperaturwechselbeanspruchung sch\u00fctzen. Au\u00dferdem kann sie die mechanische Festigkeit und die Isolationsleistung verbessern. Nach dem Beschichten bildet sich auf der Oberfl\u00e4che der Leiterplatte ein transparenter Schutzfilm. Dieser Film verhindert das Eindringen von Wassertropfen und Feuchtigkeit und beugt dadurch Leckagen und Kurzschl\u00fcssen vor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Wesentliche Aspekte des Konformbeschichtungsprozesses auf der Grundlage von <a href=\"https:\/\/datasheet.datasheetarchive.com\/originals\/crawler\/acdi.com\/4fa15157e5b81fef1873e725a900d3e8.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/datasheet.datasheetarchive.com\/originals\/crawler\/acdi.com\/4fa15157e5b81fef1873e725a900d3e8.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IPC-A-610E<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.1 Klassifizierung der Beschichtungsfl\u00e4chen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.1.1 Bereiche, in denen eine Beschichtung nicht zul\u00e4ssig ist<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Dazu geh\u00f6ren Bereiche, die einen elektrischen Anschluss erfordern, wie beispielsweise Goldpads, Goldfinger, durchkontaktierte L\u00f6cher und Testl\u00f6cher; Batterien und Batteriehalter; Steckverbinder; Sicherungen und Geh\u00e4use; K\u00fchlk\u00f6rper; Jumper; Kameraobjektive in optischen Ger\u00e4ten; Potentiometer; Sensoren; Schalter ohne abgedichtete Bauweise; sowie alle Bereiche, in denen eine Beschichtung die Leistung oder den normalen Betrieb beeintr\u00e4chtigen w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.1.2 Zu beschichtende Bereiche<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Alle L\u00f6tstellen, Stifte und leitf\u00e4higen Teile der Bauteile m\u00fcssen beschichtet sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.1.3 Optionale Beschichtungsbereiche<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr diese Bereiche gibt es keine eindeutigen verbindlichen Anforderungen an die Beschichtung. Sie k\u00f6nnen je nach Produktanforderungen und Kundenstandards beschichtet werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.2 Norm f\u00fcr die Schichtdicke und Pr\u00fcfverfahren<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Schichtdicke sollte auf einer ebenen, unbedeckten und ausgeh\u00e4rteten Oberfl\u00e4che der Leiterplattenbaugruppe gemessen werden. Sie kann auch auf einer Begleitplatine gemessen werden, die im gleichen Prozess wie die Baugruppe hergestellt wurde. Die Begleitplatine kann aus demselben Material wie die Leiterplatte bestehen oder aus einem nicht por\u00f6sen Material wie Metall oder Glas. Die Messung der Nassschichtdicke kann ebenfalls als optionale Methode zur \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung der Beschichtungsdicke verwendet werden. In diesem Fall muss das Umrechnungsverh\u00e4ltnis von Trocken- zu Nassschichtdicke im Voraus bekannt sein, und die entsprechenden Aufzeichnungen m\u00fcssen aufbewahrt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thickness test methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dry film thickness measurement: a micrometer can be used, following the IPC-CC-830B standard. A ferrous dry film thickness gauge can also be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wet film thickness measurement: use a wet film thickness gauge to measure the wet film thickness, then convert it into the actual dry film thickness based on the solid content ratio of the coating material.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.3 Edge Resolution Requirement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Definition: the edge of a line sprayed by a normal spray valve cannot be perfectly straight. Small burrs will exist. The width of these burrs is called edge resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Process requirement: the smaller the edge resolution value, the higher the coating precision. There is no single fixed standard. It only needs to meet the custom requirement of the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.4 Uniformity Requirement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The conformal coating must form a complete film on the product surface. The film must be even in thickness, smooth, and clear. The coating coverage must be uniform across the whole product. After coating, the product surface must not show cracks, layer separation, orange peel, contamination, capillary effect, bubbles, or other process defects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Full Conformal Coating Process and Main Methods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.1 Early Preparation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepare the PCBA product, conformal coating material, and other helper materials. Identify the areas that need local masking protection. Confirm and lock down all key process details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.2 Cleaning Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cleaning should be done as soon as possible after PCBA soldering is finished. This helps avoid solder residue becoming hard to remove after it cures. First, judge whether the contaminant is polar or non-polar, and then match it with the right cleaning agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an alcohol-based cleaning agent is used, the work area must have good ventilation. After cleaning, drying must be done strictly, so that leftover solvent does not cause an oven explosion when it evaporates. If a water-wash process is used, use a slightly alkaline emulsified cleaning liquid to remove flux residue, then rinse fully with pure water. Make sure the cleaning quality standard is met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.3 Masking Protection Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When selective coating equipment is not used, the no-coating areas must be masked before coating. Use adhesive tape that will not leave residue or transfer glue. For IC parts, anti-static paper tape should be used first. All parts must be masked and protected strictly according to the drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.4 Dehumidification Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After cleaning and masking, the PCBA must be pre-baked and dehumidified before coating. Based on the maximum temperature that the PCBA can tolerate, choose the right pre-bake temperature and hold time. This removes moisture fully from the board and from inside the components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.5 Main Coating Methods<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The conformal coating process can be chosen flexibly based on the protection level of the PCBA, the production equipment, and the technical setup. The main methods are the following four types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.5.1 Manual Brush Coating<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Brush coating has a wide use range. It is mainly suitable for small batch production, products with complex and dense PCBA structures, and products with strict masking protection needs. It gives strong manual control and can avoid no-coating areas very precisely, so it can prevent contamination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"471\" src=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Manual-Brush-Coating.webp\" alt=\"Manual Brush Coating\" class=\"wp-image-5005\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Manual-Brush-Coating.webp 600w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Manual-Brush-Coating-300x236.webp 300w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Manual-Brush-Coating-15x12.webp 15w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This process uses very little coating material, so it is suitable for high-cost two-component coatings. It requires a high level of skill from the operator. Before work starts, the operator must understand the coating requirements in the drawing, identify different components, know the no-coating areas clearly, and make the marks easy to see. During the whole work process, bare hands must not touch the printed plug-in parts, so that secondary contamination can be avoided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.5.2 Manual Dip Coating<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Dip coating can form a uniform, continuous, and complete coating layer. The overall coating effect is very good. However, it is not suitable for PCBA products that have adjustable capacitors, adjustable magnetic cores, potentiometers, cup-shaped magnetic cores, or parts with poor sealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key process parameters for dip coating are: adjust the viscosity of the conformal coating accurately; control the PCBA lifting speed strictly; the lifting speed must not be more than 1 meter per second, so that bubbles do not form in the coating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.5.3 Manual Spray Coating<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This method fits products with complex structures, many types, and small batch sizes, where mass production by automatic equipment is not possible. It can cover special corners and gap areas very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work notes: spray mist can easily contaminate no-coating areas such as PCB plug-in parts, IC sockets, precision contacts, and grounding areas. Therefore, masking protection must be done before spraying. Operators must not touch printed plugs with bare hands, so that the contact surface will not become dirty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.5.4 Automatic Spray Coating<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This method usually uses selective automatic coating equipment. It is suitable for large-scale standardized production. It has the advantages of good coating consistency, high precision, and less environmental pollution. As the industry upgrades, labor costs rise, and environmental rules become stricter, automatic spray equipment is slowly replacing traditional manual coating.
