Los PCB r\u00edgidos-flexibles traspasan los l\u00edmites de los PCB r\u00edgidos tradicionales. Tambi\u00e9n utilizan circuitos flexibles que se fabrican modelando cobre altamente d\u00factil, electrodepositado o recocido por laminaci\u00f3n sobre pel\u00edculas aislantes flexibles. Los dise\u00f1os r\u00edgido-flexibles presentan algunas caracter\u00edsticas claras: alta densidad, trazados finos, v\u00edas peque\u00f1as, tama\u00f1o reducido, peso ligero y alta fiabilidad. Su rendimiento se mantiene estable en condiciones de vibraci\u00f3n, golpes y humedad. Se pueden doblar y permiten el montaje tridimensional. Aprovechan mejor el espacio dentro de un conjunto. Por estas razones, se utilizan mucho en productos digitales port\u00e1tiles como tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles, c\u00e1maras digitales y videoc\u00e1maras. Las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles se utilizar\u00e1n m\u00e1s cuando haya que reducir el tama\u00f1o de los paquetes, sobre todo en electr\u00f3nica de consumo.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2671\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2671\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2671 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Flex-rigid-PCB-figure.webp\" alt=\"Rigid-flex boards\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Flex-rigid-PCB-figure.webp 700w, https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Flex-rigid-PCB-figure-300x225.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2671\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tableros r\u00edgido-flexibles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1640\">Al principio, las ideas b\u00e1sicas de dise\u00f1o y los procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n de las placas multicapa r\u00edgido-flexibles proced\u00edan de los equipos aeroespaciales. Los sistemas aeroespaciales necesitan un cableado fiable en un espacio muy limitado. En algunos productos complejos, las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles han llegado a utilizar m\u00e1s de 30 capas de conductores. Por otro lado, la electr\u00f3nica de consumo, como tel\u00e9fonos y c\u00e1maras digitales, siempre ha necesitado un cableado de alta densidad y bajo coste. Esa necesidad impuls\u00f3 la aparici\u00f3n de nuevas ideas de dise\u00f1o y m\u00e9todos de fabricaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1642\" data-end=\"1936\">Una placa multicapa r\u00edgida-flexible es b\u00e1sicamente una mezcla de placas r\u00edgidas y placas flexibles. Pero para que los fabricantes de placas las unan bien, necesitan buenos conocimientos de los procesos de PCB r\u00edgida y PCB flexible. As\u00ed que, antes de dise\u00f1ar este tipo de PCB, hay que conocer claramente las capacidades y l\u00edmites del fabricante.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1938\" data-end=\"1971\">Inconvenientes de los tableros r\u00edgido-flexibles<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1973\" data-end=\"2489\">Si s\u00f3lo compara \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/es\/pcb-manufacturer\/flexible-pcb\/\">tablero flexible<\/a> + placa r\u00edgida + conector\u201d con una sola placa r\u00edgido-flexible, el principal inconveniente de las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles es el coste. Las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles suelen costar m\u00e1s. En algunos casos, la opci\u00f3n r\u00edgido-flexible puede costar casi el doble que las placas r\u00edgida y flexible por separado. Sin embargo, si se elimina de la comparaci\u00f3n el coste del conector o de la soldadura HotBar, el precio puede aproximarse. Para ver la imagen real de los costes, hay que hacer un an\u00e1lisis de costes completo que cuente las piezas, los pasos de montaje y los procesos especiales.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2491\" data-end=\"2775\">Otro inconveniente es el montaje. El montaje SMT y el reflujo de componentes en placas r\u00edgido-flexibles pueden requerir soportes o accesorios para apoyar las \u00e1reas flexibles. El uso de soportes aumenta el coste del montaje SMT. Los soportes ayudan a mantener las partes flexibles planas y apoyadas durante el pick-and-place y el reflujo.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2777\" data-end=\"2811\">Ventajas de las planchas r\u00edgido-flexibles<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2813\" data-end=\"2901\">M\u00e1s all\u00e1 del coste, los tableros r\u00edgido-flexibles tienen muchas ventajas. He aqu\u00ed algunas de las principales ventajas:<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"2903\" data-end=\"4339\">\n<li data-start=\"2903\" data-end=\"3320\">\n<p data-start=\"2906\" data-end=\"3320\">Ahorra espacio en la placa y elimina la necesidad de conectores o procesos HotBar<br data-start=\"2977\" data-end=\"2980\">Como las partes flexible y r\u00edgida son una sola pieza, se puede eliminar un conector o una junta HotBar. Para dise\u00f1os de alta densidad, perder el espacio de un conector es muy valioso. La eliminaci\u00f3n de conectores tambi\u00e9n reduce el coste de las piezas y de la elaboraci\u00f3n de HotBar. Adem\u00e1s, el espacio entre dos placas puede ser mucho menor cuando no se necesita un conector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3322\" data-end=\"4008\">\n<p data-start=\"3325\" data-end=\"4008\">Trayectorias de se\u00f1al m\u00e1s cortas, mayor velocidad y mayor fiabilidad<br data-start=\"3385\" data-end=\"3388\">Con placas r\u00edgidas separadas unidas por conectores, una ruta de se\u00f1al tiene el aspecto siguiente: placa \u2192 conector \u2192 flex \u2192 conector \u2192 placa. Con una placa r\u00edgida-flexible se convierte en: placa \u2192 flex \u2192 placa. El trayecto es m\u00e1s corto. Las se\u00f1ales cruzan menos materiales diferentes, por lo que pierden menos energ\u00eda. En las placas r\u00edgidas est\u00e1ndar, las pistas son de cobre. Los conectores tienen contactos chapados en oro. Las patillas soldadas suelen ser de esta\u00f1o o aleaci\u00f3n de esta\u00f1o. Los cambios de se\u00f1al en cada interfaz de material provocan algunas p\u00e9rdidas. Si se utiliza r\u00edgido-flexible, se reduce el n\u00famero de interfaces. Esto favorece la integridad de la se\u00f1al. Para los productos que necesitan se\u00f1ales precisas, las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles mejoran la fiabilidad.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4010\" data-end=\"4339\">\n<p data-start=\"4013\" data-end=\"4339\">Simplifique el montaje del producto y ahorre tiempo de montaje<br data-start=\"4061\" data-end=\"4064\">El uso de tableros r\u00edgido-flexibles puede reducir <a href=\"https:\/\/flj-pcb.com\/es\/pcb-assembly\/smt-assembly\/\">SMT<\/a> y el tiempo de montaje final. Se colocan menos conectores. Tambi\u00e9n se elimina el paso de montaje de insertar un flex en un conector o el paso de soldadura HotBar. Menos piezas significa una lista de materiales m\u00e1s corta. Esto reduce el inventario y el trabajo de gesti\u00f3n de piezas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 data-start=\"4341\" data-end=\"4409\">Diferencias entre la producci\u00f3n y el montaje de placas flexibles y r\u00edgido-flexibles<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4411\" data-end=\"4749\">El proceso SMT principal es similar para todos los tipos de placas. Los circuitos flexibles, las placas r\u00edgidas-flexibles y las placas r\u00edgidas pasan por la colocaci\u00f3n de componentes y la soldadura por reflujo que utiliza pasta de soldadura. Pero las placas flexibles y las r\u00edgido-flexibles tienen necesidades especiales. Si estas necesidades adicionales no se satisfacen cuidadosamente durante la producci\u00f3n, se producir\u00e1n grandes problemas.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4751\" data-end=\"4779\">1. Impresi\u00f3n de pasta de soldadura<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4781\" data-end=\"5426\">Al igual que en las placas de circuito impreso r\u00edgidas, se utiliza una plantilla y una impresora de pasta de soldadura para aplicar pasta de soldadura a las placas flexibles y r\u00edgidas-flexibles. Muchos operadores de SMT se preocupan por el control del tama\u00f1o y la fragilidad de las placas flexibles. A diferencia de las placas r\u00edgidas, las superficies de las placas flexibles no son planas. Por lo tanto, se necesitan fijaciones y orificios de alineaci\u00f3n para mantenerlas en su sitio. Adem\u00e1s, los materiales de los circuitos flexibles cambian de tama\u00f1o con la temperatura y la humedad. Pueden estirarse o arrugarse alrededor de 0,001 pulgadas por pulgada en algunas condiciones. Estos estiramientos y arrugas provocan desplazamientos en la posici\u00f3n de la placa en X e Y. Por este motivo, la colocaci\u00f3n de circuitos flexibles suele necesitar soportes m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os o utillaje especial que la SMT de placa r\u00edgida.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5428\" data-end=\"5458\">2. Colocaci\u00f3n de componentes SMT<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5460\" data-end=\"5842\">Hoy en d\u00eda, los componentes son cada vez m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os. Las piezas peque\u00f1as pueden causar problemas de reflujo si la superficie de la placa no es plana. Si un circuito flexible es peque\u00f1o, los cambios dimensionales pueden ser menos problem\u00e1ticos, pero es posible que siga necesitando soportes SMT m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os o marcas de referencia adicionales. Si un soporte no es plano, se producir\u00e1n cambios en la colocaci\u00f3n. Una buena fijaci\u00f3n SMT ayuda a mantener la superficie de colocaci\u00f3n plana y estable.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5844\" data-end=\"5867\">3. Soldadura reflow<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5869\" data-end=\"6249\">Antes del reflujo, los circuitos flexibles deben secarse. Esta es una diferencia clave entre el montaje de placas flexibles y r\u00edgidas. Los materiales flexibles absorben la humedad como una esponja. Pueden ganar hasta 3% de su peso con la humedad. Una vez que una placa flexible absorbe la humedad, no se puede reflotar sin secarla primero. Las placas r\u00edgidas tambi\u00e9n tienen este problema, pero las r\u00edgidas toleran mejor la humedad.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6251\" data-end=\"6613\">Los circuitos flexibles requieren un prehorneado a unos 225\u00b0F a 250\u00b0F (unos 107\u00b0C a 121\u00b0C) durante un breve periodo de tiempo, idealmente terminado en una hora. Si no seca los flexibles a tiempo, deber\u00e1 almacenar las placas en una caja seca o en un almac\u00e9n de nitr\u00f3geno hasta que se horneen. Un secado adecuado evita los da\u00f1os causados por la formaci\u00f3n de vapor durante el reflujo, como delaminaci\u00f3n o ampollas.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"6615\" data-end=\"6651\">Aplicaciones de las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"6653\" data-end=\"7041\">Las placas de circuito impreso r\u00edgido-flexibles combinan la durabilidad de las r\u00edgidas con la adaptabilidad de las flexibles. Entre todos los tipos de PCB, las r\u00edgido-flexibles son las m\u00e1s resistentes para entornos dif\u00edciles. Gracias a esta resistencia, las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles son populares en control industrial, dispositivos m\u00e9dicos y equipos militares. Estas piezas necesitan precisi\u00f3n, seguridad y durabilidad. Las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles para estos campos deben ofrecer alta fiabilidad, alta precisi\u00f3n, baja p\u00e9rdida de impedancia, calidad de se\u00f1al completa y larga vida \u00fatil. Pero el proceso es complejo, el rendimiento bajo y el coste unitario elevado.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7436\" data-end=\"7620\">\n<p data-start=\"7439\" data-end=\"7620\">Tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles - En los tel\u00e9fonos, las placas r\u00edgido-flexibles aparecen en las zonas de bisagra de los tel\u00e9fonos plegables, los m\u00f3dulos de c\u00e1mara, los teclados y los m\u00f3dulos RF. Soportan flexiones repetidas y espacios de montaje reducidos.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"7622\" data-end=\"8220\">\n<p data-start=\"7625\" data-end=\"8220\">Electr\u00f3nica de consumo - Las c\u00e1maras de fotos digitales (DSC) y los productos de v\u00eddeo digital (DV) son art\u00edculos de consumo t\u00edpicos que utilizan rigid-flex. Esto aumenta la capacidad de carga del circuito y reduce los l\u00edmites de la ruta de se\u00f1al y los errores de montaje. Desde el punto de vista estructural, las placas r\u00edgidas-flexibles son ligeras y finas y permiten un enrutamiento flexible. Here are some of the main benefits:<\\\/p>\\n<ol data-start=\\\"2903\\\" data-end=\\\"4339\\\">\\n<li data-start=\\\"2903\\\" data-end=\\\"3320\\\">\\n<p data-start=\\\"2906\\\" data-end=\\\"3320\\\">Save board space and remove the need for connectors or HotBar processes<br data-start=\\\"2977\\\" data-end=\\\"2980\\\">Because the flex and rigid parts are one piece, you can remove a connector or a HotBar joint. For high density designs, losing the space of one connector is very valuable. Removing connectors also lowers parts cost and the cost of HotBar processing. Flexible circuits, rigid-flex boards, and rigid boards all go through component placement and reflow soldering that uses solder paste. But flexible boards and rigid-flex boards have special needs. If these extra needs are not met carefully during production, you will get big problems.<\\\/p>\\n<h3 data-start=\\\"4751\\\" data-end=\\\"4779\\\">1. Solder paste printing<\\\/h3>\\n<p data-start=\\\"4781\\\" data-end=\\\"5426\\\">Like rigid PCBs, you use a stencil and a solder paste printer to apply solder paste to flex and rigid-flex boards. Many SMT operators worry about size control and the fragility of flex boards. Unlike rigid boards, flex board surfaces are not flat. So you need fixtures and alignment holes to hold them in place. Also, flexible circuit materials change size with temperature and humidity. They can stretch or wrinkle by about 0.001 inch per inch under some conditions. These stretches and wrinkles cause shifts in the board position in X and Y. For this reason, flex placement often needs smaller carriers or special tooling than rigid board SMT.<\\\/p>\\n<h3 data-start=\\\"5428\\\" data-end=\\\"5458\\\">2. If a flex circuit is small, dimensional changes may be less of a problem, but you may still need smaller SMT carriers or extra fiducial marks. If a carrier is not flat, you will see placement shifts. A good SMT fixture helps keep the placement surface flat and steady.<\\\/p>\\n<h3 data-start=\\\"5844\\\" data-end=\\\"5867\\\">3. Reflow soldering<\\\/h3>\\n<p data-start=\\\"5869\\\" data-end=\\\"6249\\\">Before reflow, flexible circuits must be dried. This is a key difference between flex and rigid board assembly. Flex materials absorb moisture like a sponge. They can gain up to about 3% of their weight from moisture. Once a flex board soaks up moisture, you cannot reflow it without drying first. Among all PCB types, rigid-flex is the most robust for harsh environments. Because of that strength, rigid-flex boards are popular in industrial control, medical devices, and military equipment.
