Industrial Boards We Manufacture and Assemble
Industrial equipment uses boards for control, field input and output, power switching, and operator interaction. FLJ manufactures bare boards and assembles customer designs for these roles, with the component mix and connections set by the product design.
Control and Remote I/O Boards
FLJ builds controller and remote-I/O assemblies that connect field sensors, switches and actuators with the control electronics. We combine the specified processors and interface devices with terminals, relays and board connectors through mixed surface-mount and through-hole assembly. Component orientation and terminal position are carried into the build so the populated board meets its wiring and mounting layout.
Motor and Power-Control Assemblies
Drive, fan-control and power-interface boards place power semiconductors, capacitors and magnetic components alongside the control circuit. FLJ populates these assemblies, fits the specified leaded power and terminal parts, and installs the prescribed supports or thermal interfaces. Device seating, soldered connections and heatsink contact connect the populated board to its current path and heat-removal arrangement.
Operator and Measurement Interfaces
An operator panel needs its display and controls to line up with the housing; a measurement interface needs the specified sensor and board connections. FLJ assembles these boards and fits the connectors, display or cable connections included in the build. Connector height, mating orientation and access to fasteners are checked as the electronics are installed.

Assembly Around Field Connections
FLJ combines component assembly with the mounting, protection and internal connections required for an industrial module. The work keeps the circuit accessible where it must connect to wiring, test equipment or the rest of the machine.
Mixed Components and Mechanical Support
Terminals and larger leaded parts are installed alongside small SMT devices in a sequence that leaves insertion and soldering access. FLJ controls the specified mounting height, polarity and orientation, and fits support for heavier connectors, transformers or other parts where the assembly drawing calls for it. These details carry into how the board is handled and connected inside the equipment.
Coating, Cable Access and Integration
FLJ applies conformal coating with a coverage plan that separates the protected circuit from contacts that must remain clear. Acrylic, urethane or silicone systems are selected for the product’s exposure and maintenance needs. A connector housing or soldered connection may need protection even when its mating contacts remain uncoated.
| Area | Function | Typical treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Protected circuit | Insulate circuit surfaces | Cover as defined by the product drawing |
| Mating contacts | Make the field connection | Keep the contact interface clear |
| Required test or programming contacts | Allow specified access | Keep defined contact points clear |
For a cabinet-mounted controller, FLJ can supply cable and wire harness assemblies matched to the board connectors. We route cable branches around mounting points, maintain the specified keying and pin mapping, and fit strain relief. Where the supply includes a housing, box build integration brings these connections together with the board supports, fasteners and internal parts.
Powered Checks for Industrial Control Boards
FLJ checks the industrial functions identified for the assembled board. On an I/O module, the test can exercise required input channels and switching outputs at their terminals. An operator-panel check can cover the controls, display behaviour and specified link to the equipment. The operating supply, connections and loads follow the product’s test plan.
Assembly inspection and functional testing address different parts of that work. We inspect the applicable component placement, polarity and soldered connections, then run the specified powered sequence with the released firmware. Where coating or rework affects a contact, the relevant electrical checks are repeated in the manufacturing sequence.
Keeping an Industrial Build Consistent
An industrial controller may remain in manufacture while individual components change availability. FLJ checks current supply for the next build and identifies BOM items that need a purchasing or engineering decision. Our component sourcing work includes proposing alternatives for customer approval and carrying the accepted choice into the manufacturing BOM.
A controller replacement can change pin functions, device settings or the firmware build even when the package fits. We keep the approved hardware choice connected with its programming and device configuration and the relevant test program, then perform the checks affected by the change. The released build configuration identifies the version supplied for repeat orders.
